‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro could postpone wedding
Nikki Bella and professional “Dancing With the Stars” dancer Artem Chigvintsev had wedding plans for the end of 2021, but they have had to change those plans several times due to the global coronavirus pandemic and may now change them again.
The couple originally planned to tie the knot in Los Angeles in 2021, but they had changed that plan due to COVID restrictions, according to Access Hollywood.
“We’re actually moving the wedding from LA to another location,” she told the store. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say where again, but there are definitely plans. The only thing we know we want to make sure is that we don’t have to wear masks during the wedding. “
Bella says they can postpone the wedding
During an episode of E! On the “Daily Pop” news show, Bella spoke about her wedding plans, an update on what they might look like and when they might take place.
“We talked about it the other night,” she shared. “We were sitting on the couch and I was like, ‘Should we do this? Are we just reserving it? It’s crazy because right now we just got permits for a new house. So, I mean, we are in the process of completely redoing our house inside and out.
Bella also said she felt “a little overwhelmed” with planning the wedding but had not ruled out doing so in fall 2021 now that it appears the majority of COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted or soon will be.
Their son’s playroom is a room they work on.
“I’m starting to design Matteo’s playroom and our fireplace nook,” Bella wrote on Instagram. “We see vines! More and more excited for our new home.
Chigvintsev also shared a photo and wrote: “I can’t believe Teo is 10 months old today, time flies. I wish I could slow down and enjoy every second it’s so precious @thenikkiella you were a super mom i love you #nevergrowup #sun #family.
Bella and Chigvintsev planned to tie the knot near Thanksgiving
During an episode of “Total Bellas” before the season finale, Bella said that she and Chigvintsev set a date for their wedding.
“We’re getting married on Thanksgiving weekend 2021!” she told her family at the time as she popped a bottle of champagne.
She also explained how difficult it has been to be a new mother. The couple brought their first son Matteo home in 2020.
“I think it’s hard for men to really understand postpartum,” Bella told Chigvintsev. “Our bodies are going through so many changes inside and out and the battle we face mentally as moms, as a new mom, figuring that out… I’m going to be honest, I started to feel super invisible. “
The family recently celebrated Matteo’s 10 month old age.
“Best 10 months of my life so far,” Bella wrote on Instagram. “These are the last two days. I can’t believe our baby will be 1 month in two months !!! “
